What country has 1000 million people, 1652 languages, and 1500 unreached people groups? It comprises nearly 16% of the world's population living on 2.4 % of the world's land surface. Where else but the exotic land of India!

India falls within the 10/40 window, which encompasses the region from 10 degrees to 40 degrees north of the equator: from Africa to Asia. In this region live 97% of the world's least evangelized people. People living in this region are most resistant to the Gospel.

Spiritual darkness looms over India. The only hope for the people of India is Christ, the savior. One of the difficulties is a closed door. In the northern part of India an anti-conversion bill has been in force in Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Gujarath States. South India was quite open to the Gospel. But, recently Tamil Nadu state government has passed an anti-conversion bill in the state assembly. Kerala has enforced a law, which does not allow a foreign missionary visiting India as a tourist to preach the Bible. There is much resistance even to the national missionaries to witnessing in India. But, we praise the Lord that the Gospel of Christ is preached more now than before. All these circumstances have advanced the spread of the Gospel.

There are nearly 500,000 villages in India. In Karnataka State alone we have 27,575 villages. Out of 27, 575 villages, 27,000 are without churches. Of the 52,733,958 people in Karnataka State, 66.02% live in villages. People who live in these villages grope in darkness. We have reached 9 villages in Belgaum district of north Karnataka State and many urban parts of Belgaum and Bangalore with the Gospel of Christ in the past five years. Through our personal witness and teamwork, we have been able to plant three churches in rural Belgaum and we are planting churches in urban areas of Belgaum and Bangalore cities.

The Lord has enabled us to build a church building and an office in Bangalore and this is our base from where we operate in Karnataka State, as Bangalore being the capital city of our State.

We face a humungous task of reaching millions in these villages of India that have never heard the Gospel. Yes, the harvest is plenteous and the larorers are few. We are praying that God will raise people who have a willing heart to know Christ and make Him known to the world around them. We are committed to the task of equipping a new generation of godly men and women for significant ministry in the 21st century through quality Bible based discipleship. Every disciple is required to be involved in daily and weekly outreach programs.

We seek to reach the unreached people in India and build godly servant leaders with character, vision, and skill to build others up in the Lord (2 Timothy 2:2).

Pray that God will open doors for us to reach people who are groping in darkness and that He will provide support for this ministry. (Colossians 4:2-4).
