Jim Pasquan

I became involved in Evangelical Reformed Church when my wife Kristina and I were looking to be married. I thought I should check out the church and the man who was going to marry us. Needless to say I found a home for myself and my family to worship our Lord.

I became a deacon in 2007. Knowing scripture is the inerrant, infallible word of God along with my personal growth from attending ERC the last eight years and attending Bible Study Fellowship over the last seven years has prepared me to serve as a deacon. I have made a commitment to God to serve faithfully as a deacon and trust ERC will hold me accountable to the task.

My hope and vision for ERC is that it will be a light to our community and our doors open, welcoming all who desire to hear God’s word through Scripture. My hope is also that our youth will grow in Christ and continue to plant seeds in the community and bring their children to ERC building the foundation that will continue to serve Him—long after I am gone.

My favorite part of being a deacon is just knowing that I can serve in His Church along with helping others and doing my part with a joyful spirit and the opportunity to continue my spiritual growth walking with the Lord.

Some of my favorite things are being with my wife Kristina and sons Brett and Jesse, along with my pets. I like to play sports, sell and find bargains for myself and others on Craig’s List, mowing the lawn and fellowshipping with my brothers and sisters at ERC.

I can be contacted by phone listed in the church directory. Copies of the directory are available in the church office.
